Ryan Sullivan, an employee at a Honeywell plant in Minnesota, got the chance to introduce Barack Obama Friday, which led to his fifth-grade son, Tyler, missing school. I suppose what someone would really be willing to do for a Klondike bar would be relative. Under most circumstances, I can’t imagine it would really be that much. I’d give someone a ride to their house, if they lived close. Maybe I’d trade them a cookie. Certainly no cash would be involved. Then again, if I were literally starving to death, or even lightheaded from hunger with no other food alternatives nearby, then maybe the cost could be higher.
I wonder if people stopped and thought about what commercials actually said if it would hurt product sales.

Well, not much really. In fact, I guess I don’t really need them that much. I mean maybe if they were on sale and I was already in the frozen food aisle…

Right before the Facebook IPO, GM announced they would not be advertising on Facebook anymore, at least not using paid ads. Many folks chimed in that this might be bad news for Facebook and a commentary on how good its ad platform is, or isn’t.
Right after the Facebook IPO, GM announced that they won’t be advertising during the SuperBowl. Any of those people who said that GM’s move was a black eye on Facebook want to flush their career by saying that GM’s move is a black eye on the SuperBowl?
